Within a short span of time I saw Tom Berenger on "Major Crimes" and then Lee Majors on "Community" and thought I was looking at the same actor. Had to look up the episodes on IMDb to get straightened out. So is it just me or is there a resemblance between these two actors? Does Berenger look like anybody else to you?

The 2014 movie, Bad Country, features a very menacing bad guy with a slightly familiar face. I recently watched it on DVD. For a moment I thought it could be Kenny Rogers but he's more singer than actor and has Alzheimer's. Then I began to think it was Wayne Newton but there again, although he has 34 acting credits listed at IMDb while Kenny has 22, this role would have been a stretch. It was someone I knew but I had to wait for the closing credits to roll before Tom Berenger's name appeared.
He has obviously gone under the knife and put on weight. There's even a dash of Orson Welles and Micky Rourke in his new look.
It was good to see him again. Willem Dafoe makes some of the other actors look amateurish but I guess he is a good sport about working with lesser talents. Tom, naturally, is more Willem's equal and held his own. I'm sure you know that they worked together in Platoon (1986).
