What a great job acting by Mr. Berenger, didn't even know it was him. When an actor can pull that off, you know he's honed his craft. I sure hope he wins that emmy. He's been great for over 30 years of acting, and it's about time he gets the recognition he deserves.
Wht about dat job i did for ju in Freedom Town Da Rebenga hit, wht was dat a game of dominoes, mang?

When the credits were rolling and I saw his name I wondered where he was in the series then I came on here and saw that he played Jim Vance and my jaw dropped. That makeup let him be a chameleon in the role, I thought his normal voice would have triggered my memory but I just missed it somehow. Despising the character made me respect him as an actor even more as I've liked the man for decades in several roles.
It was nice to see him get to show his versatility as an actor again. A couple of my favorites have to be seeing him go from a psychotic farmer attempting to cause a race war in Betrayed and just a few years later the old dog veteran catcher showing his comedy chops in Major League. Covering both ends of the extreme spectrum showed his true talent to me and yet for some reason I don't feel he ever got the career recognition he deserved.

I agree. I just watch the whole thing and went on here to see who played Jim Vance and was completely surprised to read that it was Tom Berenger.
