All the people I know are obviously aware of this man, and know him of "that guy," but for a million bucks couldn't say what his name is. In fact my parents refer to him as "pig daddy" as a reference to his memorable role in "Babe," but as soon as I say "James Cromwell," it's like, "huh, who's that?" Anyone else the same way?

Cromwell is the ultimate "that guy". consistently good but never great.
My other favorite "that guy" is William Fichtner.. or the poor man's Kevin Bacon.
JK Simmons is pretty good too.
