and was shocked to see how unhealthy his appearance was. He's lost a LOT of weight. Anyone else seen him or can confirm anything about his health?
He who laughs last doesn't get the joke.

Just found a short video online in which Michael tells us that he's been a vegan for 3 years. He's therefore lost weight, going from 237 lbs. to 195. He IS turning 59 this year, so is entitled to be a little gray. Kinda cool that he's not touching it up as so many others in Hollywood do. Guess he's more of a voiceover actor these days anyway; his first love is apparently flying, and as long as he makes money doing voices then he's a happy guy. So far I haven't found out his marital status, though; I'll keep looking.
Here's a link to the short interview about becoming a vegan, taken at Comic Con last fall: http://theplantbaseddiet.com/?s=Michael+Dorn

That makes me very sad. I always had a big crush on him as "Worf," plus when I saw him in person at a Star Trek convention many years ago, boy was he sexy! Very tall, good-looking, and that deep voice lots of testosterone I guess, which is very attractive. I wonder what's up with him now? Maybe this is terrible to say but at the convention just before that "Geordi" (can't think of the actor's name right now) told us all as he chuckled that Michael was a "dog" with the ladies. Can't help but wonder did he fool around too much in Hollywood and end up with AIDS? I sure hope not. Could be any kind of illness, of course. He seems to have worked steadily since his "Next Generation" success so he's apparently doing well financially. Well I still love him, no matter what!

I saw him as well. Thin, grey and his voice was definitely not up to snuff as it usually is. It sounded raspy.
