<p dir="auto">I don't know how many here have seen the movie "Return to Me" but you should if you haven't.  Although I live in the eastern part of the U.S., my mother is from Chicago.  I think Minnie had the Chicago accent down better then some of the natives.  I know they have coaches on the side but every part of that scene, poorly described below, down to the smallest inflections,  just blew me away<br />
So as not to ruin it for anyone, it was the most heart wrenching scene, outside of course what initially happens, in the whole movie, or for that matter, any I have seen from any performer.  Minnie played that scene with such nuance and wit, she makes a 55 year old man cry every time he watches it (me!).  I wish I could get into it more, but again, I don't want to ruin it for others.</p>

<p dir="auto">Ok, but Maria Falconetti in The Passion of Joan of Arc is a close SECOND<br />
Jane Fonda at the end Of Klute is third, of course.<br />
Meryl Streep in anything, but especially Sophie's Choice is fourth<br />
But you're right, Minnie Driver outshines them all.</p>
