That used to happen a lot in my dreams. Not me trying to outrun it, but I'll be looking at a plane, and I kept thinking that plane is about to crash and it would. It's been a while since I had those dreams, but it was like that for years. It had me scared around planes irl.
My bad dreams lately usually involve hostile people hetting angry at me for no reason and then trying to kill me.

I also have recurring dreams about hiding a dead body that someone else killed, because im afraid I'll be blamed for it. I always wake up scared when I dream that. One time the police cornered me in a patch of woods in my childhood neighborhood "I am grown up in the dream" and I woke up with my heart rate through the roof and I could feel my pulse all over.
