Have you seen Mr. Mercedes? Not a British or Irish crime series, but it does star Brendan Gleeson. It's quite underrated, particularly the first season. Although since it is a Stephen King adaptation, things get a little strange later on.

I have! The national broadcast here channel looooves its brit crime because we do. The rest I can find on youtube or hopefully other streaming apps. There will be some things I can't get hold of, though.
If you get the chance to see the Welsh crime series Hidden (Craith), see it. It's beautiful and sad. The first series straight up haunted me. Great acting. Gorgeous scenery.

Happy Valley is the only one of those I've seen, so I probably can't help much lmao. I did watch Dept Q recently and really enjoyed it. And Inside Man. But you've probably seen those
