contemplate returning to Thornhill (the reason I know this, is because I remember in high school people who knew him, said that he wanted to, & I remember wondering why the heck he would want to do that, when he had it so made, down in Hollywood). Yes, nobody forced him to do drugs, but, as you mentioned he was partying hard, like all the other young stars, & through peer pressure & naivety, he2000 ended up hooked, & the rapes he endured, did nothing to help.

If Feldman was such a awful person, why did Haim keep hanging out with him. You know, Haim is not completely innocent. Back in the day he would blow 26 grand on comic books and gum. Did he think his career would last forever? One time Feldman and Haim partied so hard, they threw a refrigerator out a window of a hotel and damaged their property. Haim could have left Los Angeles and went back to Canada with his mom if he was being raped by Hollywood pervs.
Nobody forced Haim to do drugs, people have horrible traumatic experiences and they don't turn to drugs. You can't blame Feldman for all of Haim's falling. He was not 2.

Wasn't Feldman a kid himself too? Hadn't he been in the film business for 10 years or something? He could've been groomed for years. I'm not defending him but he/they were in a toxic, sickening environment. It's horrible t16d0o think how this might've been normality for so many kids.

I'm pretty sure that it was Jeremy Piven who told Corey Haim on the set of "Lucas" that sodomy (before actually committing the act against him) is something all actors do to one another when the other is just starting out in show business. I hope Haim didn't actually believe that, but it was a more nave time and Haim seemed quite nave (his mother must have been as well) when he first started getting acting roles.
