When you put it in the same context as Chinese, French, Italian actresses being linked to their heritage then it does make sense to list African-American actresses as Black or African-American. However, I wasn't trying to be politically correct when I made reference to the fact that we're all the same in God's eyes because actually we are. I am a Christian and really would love for people to view each other that way. While I am a realist and know that it will not happen in this lifetime and in this world someday, I know I'll see that in eternity. Honestly, what you believe is entirely up to you, and I don't knock that even if I don't agree with it. But this is how I see it even if you don't agree.

I don't agree with you. Actresses such as Li Gong, Michelle Yeoh And Ziyi Zhang are always linked to their Chinese ancestry; same as Catherine Deneuve being French, or Sophia Loren being Italian. What's wrong in mentioning their ethnicity or country of birth? Simply saying we are all human and there shouldn't be any differentiation as to color, race or creed, is taking this insidious PC Ideal too far.

Ms. Grier is an incredibly talented and courageous woman who happens to be Black.
