I didn't know anything about Pam Grier until a few minutes ago when I read her biography. All I can think to say is, what a woman! She nearly died twice, and she's not only still alive, but healthy. A woman that strong will always have my respect.

She was 48 when she did Jackie Brown and her character in that film is one of the sexiest characters for me in all of film. And i'm a classic film fan!

a friend and i were just talking today about "Jackie Brown". He guessed she was in her late 20's.. I said 40 (but I already knew she wasn't TOO young because of her early career work). Just found out she was 47/48 during Jackie Brown.. crazy. I'd tell her to grab her ankles in a heartbeat!
