I was just going home that night,
A quiet ride, the city lights.
No enemies, no plans to fight,
Just heading back, my heart polite.

Dreaming of a life where I could grow.
No harm to anyone, no reckless play,
Just wishing for a brighter day.
Then came a stranger, eyes unknown,
A cruel act, a life overthrown.
