Same thing happened to me with Christopher Lee in the summer of 2015. I had just rewatched the whole Hobbit and LotR saga because battle of the five armies had just come out. I got to thinking about how old Sir Lee was, and I was thinking "it's gonna be pretty sad when he dies"
I spent hours that day watching interviews of him and listening to him reading stories on youtube. Then I woke up the next morning and heard that he had died.
His main goal in life was to make a mark on the world and be remembered, and he did just that

he died yesturday

I had read he had beaten pancreatic cancer of which there is only a 5% chance of doing. Apparently he didn't or they lied to all the public. Such a great loss!!!

And i agree fantastic actor. His filmography alone is like never-ending!

But I mean like THIS MORNING I was reading about Alien covenant and started thinking about John Hurt's death scene in alien and then as soon as I come on imdb not even 20 minutes after thinking about that, I find out he died
This is so sad. He was an amazing actor and he will be missed

I know what you mean. Its happened a few times, where I've thought about a celebrity and then I hear they've passed away a few days later.
Just 2 days ago, I watched a clip from The Elephant Man - my favourite scene, where John Merrick had tea with the Doctor and his wife.
