I am not sure where I heard it, but sometime when I first saw her on Ice Castles I heard she was the granddaughter of Johnson of the Shipstad and Johnson Ice Follies. Can anyone confirm or deny this?

She had a Danish grandfather called Jens. I don't know if he was her mom's dad or dad's dad.
Last year I went from being a longtime casual fan to a big fan of Lynn-Holly. I read lots of interviews, and there was no mention of Oscar Johnson. She developed a passion for skating after watching her elder brother and sister have lessons.
You have to bear in mind that Johnson is a very common surname.
