Peter's parents were married in Leeds North Yorkshire in the third quarter of 1930. His older sister Patricia O'Toole was born in the fourth quarter of 1930.
Peter J O'Toole was born in the third quarter of 1932. Note his second Christian name is James not Seamus.
There is no registration for Peter O'Toole's birth in Ireland in August 1932.
His parents Patrick Joseph O'Toole and Constance Jane Eliot Ferguson were living
in Leeds North Yorkshire for two years before Peter was born.

O'Toole has stated that he has two birth certificates one in Ireland and one in England. This is not true. I found a Peter D O'Toole born in the third quarter
of 1933 in Rathdown Ireland but not Peter Seamus(or James) in 1932 in Ireland.

It's always been a source of mild irritation to me that O'Toole always denied in interview being born in Leeds. I don't know why, because his birth was registered. Someone on this site once suggested he was born in Ireland and his birth was registered in England! This just doesn't happen. I think parents could be fined if births aren't registered within a certain period - just like the late Queen Mother's birth - her father was fined £5.
