I am rewatching the last couple of seasons of Weeds and man has this woman done a number on her face. I am not saying it's surgery but it's definitely botox and fillers. Her face looks fllllat. Very limited expressions, that Cheshire cat smile, dead eyes. the works. Her talent an5b4d fantastic acting are still there and her voice is still very affective but her expressions are just dead and her inner life not coming through at all.
MLP has always been one of my favorite actresses ever since her indy days but obviously even brilliant people can fall into the botox insecurity trap. It kind of bothers me.
I have not seen the Red movies so maybe she stopped doing all that and is back to having her more expressive face. I hope so. I expect better from somebody like her

I don't watch that show or follow her so I don't know, but I find it hypocritical for society to tear girls and women to shreds about EVERYTHING relative to looks and then wonder why so many develop eating disorders and/or body image issues. Heck, on MLP's page there are at least 10 subjects on her body. What literate human being could be exposed to so much superficiality and NOT succumb to the feeling they have to find a way to stop time? How many girls are undergoing dangerous surgeries to appeal to a standard that isn't even real? It's beyond ridiculous and until more people die or completely destroy themselves trying to fit into the vary narrow social image of "beauty" it won't stop.

Sadly I think you are right. I was watching The Blacklist tonight and she was on it and I suddenly noticed plastique on her. Very sad and why why why?!??
