Well, since no one started a thread yet I figured I would, since other people will no doubt be here soon to bash him.
Look, not defending the guy at all. I don't condone racism. What I do think is fair to say is that in times of extreme anger sometimes people deliberately reach for the most venomous things they can say to elicit a reaction.
Again, not defending the guy beyond pointing out that perhaps an out-of-context extract from a heated e-mail exchange regarding child custody is perhaps not the best indication of a person's character.
