It's been years since people discussed this subject, but great art is eternal, so let me say that Jason's acting in "Downloading Nancy" was some of the best, more moving, most authentic work I've ever seen. I'm still reeling from it.

Awesome movie. One of the best war movies ever made. Mr Patic a mere 20 yrs old and doing that kind of work. His first film after LOST BOYS. Imagine anyone else cutting off all their 80's hair and then making that movie instead of following the teen stardom path? Unique from the beginning.

He was excellent in After Dark My Sweet, Sleepers, Narc and Your Friends and Neighbors, but my favorite Jason Patric movie still has to be Rush. He was very believable as Raynor, tragically sinking into drug addiction and loathing himself for it. Patric and Jennifer Jason Leigh both gave brilliant, powerful performances that were totally robbed of Best Actor and Actress Oscar nominations in 1991. Such an underrated movie.

My favorite film featuring Jason Patric is AFTER DARK, MY SWEET. This film introduced me to the talents of Patric. It made me realize he was more than a handsome face. I love it still. RUSH showcased his talent even more. YOUR FRIENDS & NEIGHBORS and NARC followed. I'm looking forward to more with THE GOOD SHEPHERD.
