What a friggin idiot you are. Look at the presented FACTS not the innuendo presented from the bitter, ugly, cancer ridded mothers side. This is a travesty. Thgis man is fighting for more than himself.

Not exactly sure why it's "ironic"- other than the fact that he supposedly basically told his g.f. the mother of this child, that he would help her after unsuccessful pregnancy, to be a sperm donor, told her that he "did not want it to affect the relationship", did not want to assume father-duty at all, no questions, and that he asked her to keep it a secret he was the father-then when he and the chick broke up, she assumed ok, now i have a son, and i'm breaking up with this schmuck..he turns around and suddenly realizes what a little miracle he contributed to, lied to the ex g.f. and is now behaving badly, imo. If he felt close to the child, he should've explained how something had changed before he broke up with her, after telling her it would be a no-strings-attached type situation.
And you get this information where? Oh, that's right, from the mother who is bitter. Funny how during the custody rights hearing this did not come about. It was not until her lawyers found this loop hole in the law that she tried this. He has documented proof he was involved with his son from before he was born. Be careful what you believe when it comes from a bitter jilted lover. They lie all the time.

If he didn't want father duty then why was he listed on the child's school application? Why was his name on the birth certificate? Why did she give him custody of her unfertilized eggs?
Those are not the actions of an uninvolved father.
In the court documents, he shows evidence that he was involved with the child before he was born and almost every day since that child was alive, except when he had to travel for work. I really fail to see how he has showed that he someone who is just behaving badly.

Why is it ironic that Jason Patric is fighting for custody for his son? It looks like he had been an active parent in that boy's life the entire time.
