I don't know about that, (although McCain was no slouch when it comes to 'looks' when he was in the military), but just saw the movie: "After Dark, My sweet" and all I can say: he has this sexual charisma that few actor have and pitted against these younger hunks that abound in todays' film, he wins hands down! His acting chops, are first class! He was the reAson I watched the film to its gritty end (I was about to change channels-glad I didn't). His performance was an admixture of mental liability, and compassion of the heart (I'm still not sure if he meant to kill the little boy).
