You've seen Guy Standeven in something because the man was in everything.

I don't think he had a lot of range, but he was very good in the "Psycho" movies as well as "Pretty Poison". In some ways, he was maybe better in "Psycho 2" than in the original. It was a more subtle, sensitive performance. Though he was excellent in both.
He was super hammy in "Mahogany".

Perkins was an excellent actor. It's a shame he was typecast after PSYCHO. He had amazing charisma and talent.
