I think her issue is in the 90s she was happy and smiled a lot. She was cute. Literally the last 15 years she never smiles or looks happy. Not ever.

Well she was playing a very butch character in The Matrix movies so of course she didn't look as spectacularly beautiful as she did in the nutty professor, which was actually the first time I noticed her and had a crush on when I was a kid and I'm white haha

Many black people age well and tend to look a lot younger than the real age until they reach into their 50s, look at Will Smith, Pharrell Williams, Chilli from TLC. They are all in their 40s, and at least three of them can pass for late 20s. Jada still looks good imo, but she suddenly looks her actual age. But I also think she had some kind of surgery done.. and err, not eating, which is making her look worse than she would probably look like.

You answered your own question in the last sentence. Father time is undefeated, and the early 90's was 20 years ago. There are surgeries and exceptions, but it's otherwise unrealistic to expect anyone to look the same as they did twenty years ago.
