Despite being very pretty, always attaching herself to A Listers right from the beginning and a sham marriage to Hollywood's biggest closet case, Kelly hasn't had much of a career, has she? Has she ever given one great or even remotely memorable performance in her entire "career?" I think not.

Her biggest role was probably in "Jerry Maguire" which was HUGE when it came out. But, she was second-tier to Renee Zellwegger. She did what Gwyneth Paltrow (and to some extent Jennifer Garner) did and became a professional wife/mommy rather than pursue acting. I don't blame them; acting's an ugly business.

She only got work in Hollywood because of her looks, not because of her acting skills. Now that she is older and her looks are fading, she can't find an acting job. She hasn't been in a movie in about 5 years.

but she's always convincing in crazy, a little off her rocker, and hot and beautiful, dream girl who you obsess over and drive yourself mad over having but can never have. the unattainable hot, beautiful dream girl woman. and also she maintained a stable movie every year career in Hollywood for about 20 years, so I think she had a prolific, memorable, and highly productive career in Hollywood. to me she was memorable because she was in high demand in Hollywood for so long and because she always stood out in movie roles, to me anyway. As far as how her characters are, they are unique characters and it takes a pretty good actor to make those characters memorable.

Her acting is limited. She couldn't be a star so she entered a sham marriage. She also dated Charlie Sheen! Shows how desperate she is to be a celebrity.

exactly that's what I explained to the OP. she's been very memorable to me in a lot of films. films like Twins, for sure, in a big way, in Amazon Women On The Moon, in Mischief, in Jerry Maguire, in Run, in Love Is A Gun, in The Experts, in that one episode of Tales From The Crypt which was directed by Arnold Schwarzenegger, in Nothing To Lose, in 52 Pickup, in Spellbound. I mean that's a lot of movies where she was memorable in. heck she might always be memorable. and so, while not a great actress she's maybe always memorable in her roles which is saying a lot when there are so many unmemorable performances by other actresses in movies in the same time that Kelly was in all those movies. and she had a great run of being in high demand for roles in Hollywood movies every year and being in a movie every year for about 20 years. she's had a successful career so far.

Kelly has definitely had a career, but it probably could have been much more. She's had more than a few memorable roles, some already cited here.

if you loved her in Secret Admirer then you have to watch her and drool after her in Mischief. my gosh, she's never been as beautiful and never been as hot as she is in Mischief.

It seems she made a choice for security and a Hollywood lifestyle by agreeing to be a beard for one of Hollywood's biggest closeted stars (next to Tommy C).sad really, I think she could have become an A-lister herself.
