If you re-watch the TV show "Seinfeld" you will notice that Jerry Seinfeld really isn't that funny and the ensemble cast as a whole delivers the goods..The egotism that Jerry Seinfeld displays you would think that he thinks he could have done the show without anyone else!!

Jerry was the straight man, the host, the observer etc. he witnessed all the craziness and usually had just the right one liner for the situation. He was always funny

LOL absolutely true.
Jerry was not funny and he was not even a good actor to carry the straight role.
Larry David was the genius behind the creative/writing/storylines. He gave the show the tone of humor it has.
The ensemble cast was super talented and owned their roles.
Jerry was just the comedian that used their name. He might have been a good stand up but that's it.
I don't know where he gets the credit perhaps he was a good producer. They could have replaced Jerry with anyone as long as Larry David wrote/created the storylines and the co-stars remained the same.
look I learned photoshop.on the beach
