Imagine if 2pac was alive today, the guy would be in his mid 40s. Everyone changes as they get older, most people mature mentally and physically. I mean when you're a teenager or under 25 you think you rule the world and you live a very carefree, reckless immature life that's only "living in the moment" b/c you have a lot of growing up to do. A ton of growing up to do actually.
2pac was only 25 when he was killed. Most of his contemporaries have grown up from their youthful attitudes back in the 80s and 90s.
I honestly think if he was alive he may not carry the same immortalized weight with younger fans who would see him as some older dude that did rap back in the 90s "before their time". But since he died young, he is forever immortalized with that cool mystique about him. If he lived, as he got older he likely would have given up rap, started a family and became more of a film star. Pac seemed more interested in acting anyway, h2000e probably would have gotten out of rap and headed more towards an Ice Cube type career.

I'd like to think he'd get more into films like Mos Def or even Common he seemed like the dramatic actor .I know he was classically trained in baltimore he probably would of done the comedy as well but mixed in with drama .
immortalized with that cool mystique about him
Could you give me some examples of what you mean by his cool mystique ?
Me and a buddy were talking about this the other day we're both fans of 2pac and we both were 80's babies so we grew up during his reign in hip hop and the whole east vs west conflict we grew up through it and experienced it .Just going off how his life was going at the time .I think he would of been doing more behind the scenes work he would of had his own record label that's for sure . He would of been mentoring artists up in the game probably would had more focus and obviously been more mature and dropped the wildness of his nature down to a minium .I like too think he would of wind up being a family man the thing with that is .2pac put his peoples struggles before him so who knows if he would of had the time for it .I think he would of gotten more political too stepped into the political arena .2pac was the type of person where could of succeed in almost any field he was just that good .Obviously he would of squashed things with the people he had beef with when he was younger .So him and biggie would of worked together him and probably jay and Nas .He'd be a force too reckon with in the hip hop world that is for certain. The rap game wouldn't be what it is today if he was still here .The bar would be alot higher and raised alot higher so would have to be the best or you wouldn't exist
Humankind cannot bear very much reality
