so 40-60 year old now. he is always captivating, enigmatic, intriguing, unusual, unique, memorable, nuanced, versatile, believable and very entertaining to watch.
you've never watched the same spader character no matter how similar they seem which considering he usually plays dark, brooding villain characters is extremely impressive. he always puts a different spin on a character he always makes a character his own and puts his spader trademark on it.

here is how you know this is true: after all the movies you have watched him in which is a lot have you ever walked away from a movie with james spader and said i wasn't really impressed with his acting in this? never, that proves he is one of the best of his generation.
i can't think of one movie with him like this. i have watched him in at least 10 movies now.
