I'm glad he wasn't in that though. It wouldn't have been a hit and they knew it,<br />
Plus Stoltz stole Sheffer's lead role in Some Kind of Wonderful, so he got that opportunity in the end.<br />

<p dir="auto">People don't realize how much politics were involved during the making of Back to the Future. At the end of the day, we're not talking about an indie film that was made purely for artistic intent and self-gratification. We are talking about a mainstream movie. The firing of Eric Stoltz was a commercially motivated unfair dismissal.<br />
