I just wonde5b4r how she ended up going from the title character of a movie like Lolita, with so much promise, to a typical blonde background character in Alpha Dog. I think that's sad. She could have been a much better actress, but she just never developed very much from her younger years. Bad acting choices, I suppose.

I have a feeling that WAS the character. Remember, this story is based on real events and real people. I have known people like her character in AD and I actually liked her performance.

Compared to some of the other young actresses Dominique is a gem in my opinion

I just watched Alpha Dog this week, and I have to agree that it was far from Dominiques best. She needs a director thats not afraid to tell her when to tone it down some, her ranting was WAY too over the top!
Justin Timberlake on the other hand WOW! Who knew he could act!
Good movie though.

I am impartial. Not a fan, but don't dislike her or anything.
I muted the parts she was in, no lie. She looked like she was going to pop a vein and her head was going to start spinning around like in a horror movie. It felt like she was forcing it way too much. Just an opinion, though

Keep in mind about Alpha Dog (like with Bully) that it is based off actual events and actual people. And, unfortunately, real people tend to be pretty lame and retarded unlike lovely fictional characters that have been revised to be interesting.

I'm a huge fan of hers and it was just terrible to watch, yes she was good at the screaming, but she can do so much better than screaming if companies would only see that.

i like her usually, but that was literally the wrost acting ever. my friends and i were cracking up at how bad she was.

Well, obviously as a fan of hers you don't want to see her in a bit part, which is what her role in Alpha Dog wasso I can see how you wouldn't like her role, plus she's fairly annoying in it and always nagging. But, she plays the role she's meant to play very well in my opinion. My god though for some of those screaming shots, I noticed how ripped she was and I was just like holy crap. She must've been working out a lot the past few years.
