He's become beyond stupid politically, but Angelina has really flip-flopped in her commentary about her father.
At one time, she extolled the virtues of her Dad and how wonderful he'd been, despite the divorce between her parents which happened when she was only five but she apparently never got over. But a few years ago when Voight was concerned about her mental health and trying to contact her thru the media, she was enraged (probably justly) but then used her father's alleged affair on her mother to distance herself from criticism that she'd stolen Brad Pitt from Jennifer Anniston by saying that she'd "never" steal someone's spouse away or help someone cheat like her father cheated on her mother years earlier. But it seemed a cheap and terribly convenient shot from Jolie.
And then she didn't talk to him for y5b4ears. But she's high maintenance, of course.
So, no, I don't think there's any reason to believe that Jon Voight even comes close to being the worst father ever. Even though he has become a jaw-dropping moron in other ways, the buffoon.
