I agree, I think he does a great job as Ray Donovan's father Mickey. I am glad to see he is still going strong in his career. Besides being a leading actor, he has also had some great character parts. I thought he was great as the blind man in U-Turn, and very funny too.

Older actors would kill for a part like that, and he can pull it off, and make it seem real.
He reminds me off a real street guy i know who happens to be in his mid 70s. People make the mistake of thinking all old guys as all being past it. They don't realize guys like this maybe older in years, but in their heads they are still in their 20s. Voight plays him just like that.
