It's weird but, not even September yet and I'm getting a lot of dead dried leaves to clean up around my place. It's like it's still summer, but fall (falling leaves) has already started.

That reminds me. The unincorporated area I spent my childhood in was called Pumpkin Center. So appropriate given my longtime love of Halloween and spooky stuff.
Oh, I also lived in a hick town for a couple years on a road called Blood River Rd. Lol

There is a very large pumpkin festival in a nearby town, which is why I think they got the idea.

Honestly surprised my town's microbrewery (Gnarly Barley) hasn't done one… to my knowledge.

There was a microbrewery near me that used to make pumpkin ale. Not sure if they still do. It wasn't bad, as I recall.

It's gonna be 91, so hot, but after the hotter than usual last 2 years, that doesn't seem bad.
Also supposed to get in the mid 80's as far as highs go, which is warm, but not bad for August in Louisiana.

I usually hate September, but this year, with no current tropical threats and the weather's gonna calm the **** down (not as hot. Lows are gonna be in the mid 60s) I just feel good about Fall coming soon.
