Kevin has an exceptionally nice and warm singing voice. I first heard him in the original London cast recording of Andrew Lloyd Webber's Sunset Boulevard where he played Joe Gillis opposite Patti LuPone's superb Norma Desmond.
He really should do more musicals. Any thoughts about his Sunset Blvd performance? I think both he and Patti were much better than their Broadway counterparts (Alan Campbell and Glenn Close).

I absolutely love his voice as well. Think he sounds a little like Richard Marx or Kenny Loggins. I own the Sunset Blvd CD and the Brooklyn one (don't know why it flopped on broadwayI saw it and it was amazing, one of the best musicals I've seen with some of the strongest voices I've ever heard. Critics sometimes don't know a good thing when it smacks 'em in the face!!). And too bad the Archdiocese couldn't handle the progressiveness of Nothing Sacrednow that was a fantastic drama series (he was even given the opportunity to sing on some of the episodes which was awesome)!! I found myself very moved and in tears at the end of many of the episodes. I was so disappointed when it wasn't picked up for another year. Hopefully we'll see more of him somewhere soon.

Haven't seen him onstage, but I thought he was excellent in the cable film Ruby's Bucket of Blood with Angela Bassett. He can really sing the blues - and he had a lot to sing about in that movie!
The man is versatile. And hot hot hot! Even as Father Ray in Nothing Sacred on TV. Now there was a role that suited him.

I saw Kevin and Patti perform in London, as well - I was a kid then (15), but I've been a fan ever since. Hope to see more of him.

He already has done another musical. Back in 2004, he did a show called Brooklyn. It flopped but has become quite a cult classic. You can find a bootleg. Just Google "Brooklyn musical." He is amazing. Watch the one that says OBC. That's the better one. If you watch the other one, you'll get his replacement, Lee Morgan.
