Melody Anderson was one of the prettiest actresses ever. If you have any doubts about that see the 1980 feature film "Flash Gordon." She also was a good actress who had a sense of humor and wasn't stuck up. I noticed her resume has stopped. Does anyone know what she is up to now?

Caitlin O'Heaney is also a great actress that left show business many years ago. Also, Whittni Wright was am amazing actress when she was about four years old in I'll Do Anything. Whittni Wright did not continue in show business supposedly because the business is such a hassle. I assume there are many good actors that just don't want it.

its always cool when you hear these actors who were in memorable films like flash Gordon do something else beyond acting, especially helping people like this. that's really great for her! she seems like a very smart woman, both beauty and brains! makes me think more of people like this. she certainly was a a cutie in that movie. the film looked like it was in Technicolor so she looked amazing in it!
Realism, Remakes and Unnecessary Sequels are ruining movies!

Yes, I was thinking that can't be right.
Why would she want to play "Girl in the Park #2", anyway???

She has a IMDB credit for the 2010 movie 'Point of Death' as the character 'Girl in the Park 2."
Surely this is a different Melody Anderson; I have a hard time believing a 55 year old actress could play a 'Girl in the Park'.

I met her at the comic con convention at the Jacob Javitz Center this weekend. She has not changed a bit and is as beautiful as she was in Flash Gordon.
You'll have nothing and like it!

Melody had it all, but when she smiled - wow! No heterosexual guy had any defenses for it. Of course, who would want to repel her?

She did well in 'Dead & Buried'. With 'Flash Gordon', they were the only films of her I had seen in early 80's.

Do you happen to know if she ever married or had any kids? Again, I barely heard about her after the mid 1990's. I assumed she was raising a family or went into another profession. (Which she has).
