<p dir="auto">A Few years ago I was watching TCM and they showed a Fatty Arbuckle talky short from 1932, I believe, it was "In the Dough", all I remember is that it was FUNNY! Really funny, and after reading about the new contract he signed, I could see that Fatty was backI mean, like hilarious funny was this shortI have never seen his silent ones, but from this one talky, I can tell he was funny!</p>

<p dir="auto">He sounds so normal. Different than the other comedic acts of that era. I wonder if that would have hurt his lead comedic actor status going forward?</p>

<p dir="auto">Here is one of Arbuckle's short films IN THE DOUGH [1933]. He was a natural for sound. I wish he had survived the scandal and the 1930s.</p>
