(the latter is available on DVD, the others are perserved in film archives and have been screened on festivals a few times). Following the scandal that ruined Arbuckle's career as a leading comedian in the early 1920's, most of his negatives were destroyed and, as a result, many films such as
Brewster's Millions
are likely never to turn up again. The film, as you perhaps know, was based on a 1906-play, which in turn was based on the novel by Richard Greaves. Despite the success of the play, none of the eight or nine film versions have done very well.
