Where would this script for a Fatty movie be? Is it possible that one day it could still work, or would people just not care by now?

You seem not to care for Depp as a person because of "fan girls".
Pretty brilliant on your part (he said to the "Brilliance of the sun" fangirl who uses Vivien Leigh as a username).
I can't stop laughing.
Did anyone ever ask Depp where he got his "bits"? He readily admitted borrowing Keith Richards' persona for the Pirates gig so what on earth makes you think he wouldn't talk about Keaton if asked?
If Depp can get a film made which might exonerate Arbuckle in the public's eye I'm all for it. Even with inaccuracies.
You might recall that "Ray" won Oscars for among the lamest "reimaginings" of a real person Hollywood's ever attempted (until "Walk The Line" was released).
You probably think "Gone With The Wind" was a good film.

Any movie made should be based on David Yallop's excellent book 'The Day The Laughter Stopped.' I would love to see a movie that publicly exonerates this deeply wronged man.
Even though Roscoe was clearly innocent and aquited by a jury, many still believe him guilty because they don't know the facts.

Snorrem, I'm curious: A friend of mine read I, Fatty awhile back and continues to rave about what a fascinating read it was. I'm curious, what were the "factual errors" you refer to, and what book(s) disprove them?
I don't doubt you're right. It is, afterall, a novel. I'd be interested to know. Thanks

Snorrem, where did you hear about this Fatty Arbuckle movie that Johnny Depp bought? Sounds interesting. Who should play him?
