What do you guys prefer or how did you watch them at first ?
Ive only seen Opera from him and wasnt a big fan of it but i cant remember how i watched it as its many years ago.
Ive decided to watch alot of his works though and tonight im going to start with "The Bird with the Crystal Plummage". It has italian and english voices how should i watch this or his later movies do you guys find one better than the other ?

Both the English and Italian versions are dubbed. It was a very common practice in the Italian Cinema of the 70s/80s to shoot the movies with no audio, due to the diversity of nationality of the actors working on the film, and dub them later.
But, answering the question, I would highly recommend the Italian dubbing as the line delivery sounds in general much better. In the English versions, it usually seems really overdone.
