i'm currently a student there and i'm taking Respect for Acting in the Summer and she teaches that course so there's a possibility she might be my instructor. Has anyone ever worked with or been taught by her before? If so what is she like as a teacher or to work along side with?

Good luck with your application. It's a fine school and some of the other instructors, other than diane, are excellent. Just don't take everything she says as gospel.

I actually am applying to the Academy of Art, because I want to be a director. I went to an open house day that the college had and I met her really briefly. She was rushing past, but she took time to ask me and my mother if we were staying to watch the filmmaking documentry they had going on in the auditorium. I can't wait to attend, I hope I get in.

I am just happy that Diane is still with us and teaching her art to others. I thought she was the most beautiful and talented in the 1959 film, The Best of Everything.John in Louisiana

Happened to see your email on Diane Baker's biography page! I can answer first hand because she was my instructor for three classes. I love her work as an actress, so I had to study with her. She tells the truth and is completely dedicated to the students. Really passionate about it. And she's no fool, she really has been there done that! She doesn't let us get away with bad acting. I came here to learn from her. I hope she stays we really need her positive energy. Now she only teaches Acting 5 and Masters Acting for the camera but she's brought in some great teachers! I really dig the whole acting program.

Someone should ask her the question posed on the "Diary of Anne Frank" message board about whether concentration camp scenes were shot and not used in the final p2000rint. The answer should be posted on that board.

I agree, lilnessaslove. DB has fooled people into thinking she is a nice person, but anyone with any street smarts can detect the phoniness beneath it all.

I'm not a fan of Diane, I've never taken one of her classes, and I don't plan on to(I had Mike Carroll). But Diane Baker is in love with Diane Baker.
