Is it just me, or does it appear that Kathleen Turner has molded her on screen persona to be similar to that of Ms. Baxter? They both have short light brown hair, voices that are deep for women and beautiful looks.
In case you think I am way off, the basis for my observation is rooted in two specific films. I can only ever recall seeing Ms. Baxter in All About Eve and I am thinking of Ms. Turner's performance in Serial Mom.
Would you f#ck me? I'd f#ck me!

I totally believe the same thing. I was watching an interview in the early eighties, and her Turner's voice, speech inflections and even facial expressions seemed to be modeled after Baxters'.
That said, I think both were/are/were over the top with their histrionics.

I don't see the physical resemblance but their voices are very similar!

I agree with you. In Eve, in the scene where Addison brings down her house of cards, I finally thought to myself, Kathleen Turner! Her looks, her voice, everything. I saw the post about Mira Sorvino, and figured no one would have seen the Kathleen resemblence. BTW, I think that Kathleen Turner was one of the sexiest, take charge, actresses ever and it looks like Baxter was the same way.

Yes!! Watching the movie I was thinking it was Turner, but then I did the math

Funny, I always say Anne looks like Kathleen, but everybody always disagrees with me. But it is clear: the eyes, the voice, the hands Kathleen was clearly inspired by Anne.
