Ralph Bellamy playing FDR was similar to Raymond Massey playing Abraham Lincoln. They both did it on stage, movies and television. As far as I am aware, Bellamy did not play it on radio like Massey did with Lincoln.

Ralph Bellamy also portrayed Roosevelt on THE PERRY COMO SHOW in 1958.

Ralph Bellamy also repeated it on Perry Como's television show in the 1950s.

He also played FDR on Broadway, which must have been an event to witness. I'm glad he preserved his amazing performance on film. It's shocking when you consider that Bellamy was only nominated for an Oscar once in his career. He should have received one for SUNRISE AT CAMPOBELLO (along with Hume Cronyn who was equally brilliant).
