I love how Annette looks. She looks like a woman in her 50s, what's wrong with that? She's beautiful, articulate and smart. She's a brilliant actress and a notable personality. No, she's not undergone the knife, thank God! She shows us what someone middle-aged should look like, brava!

The sad truth is most everyone THINKS they look younger than they actually are and that includes commenters on this thread.
Annette is still lovely and has not opted for Botox as of yet. I find her beautiful still.
People complain about actors who get Botox and plastic surgery and then people complain when actors don't do Botox and surgery like Annette. That is why it is best to do what is best for yourself.
I will still watch Bening's films because she is so talented. We all get older and she looks her age and doesn't get photoshopped to death.

I admire her for not submitting to botox and plastic surgery. 4 children, who knows what kind of stress and strain in her life, sun damage from living in California, smoking and/or genetics, at least there is someone out there in Hollywood who has not become a mutant. She has the self-confidence to be herself. Good for her. Her husband on the other hand is frightening looking. To think of what Warren Beatty has done to himself is just sadhe looks like his eyes won't close.

She does look old. She's got those teletale smokers wringles around her mouth and eyes. Her skin around her neck and hands is all saggy. Not a pretty sight.
Not the worst around and for her age I guess she looks alright, but she isn't looking great.

Let me get this straightall of you think she looks 73??? That's how old Warren Beatty is. She looks 52 he gets work done to look in his 60s or 50s. I'm not sure how many young people are commenting on this thread so I will merely say "get over yourselves with the 'she looks old' crap"

Annette has certainly chose to age gracefully and I admire her for that. However, I wish I could afford a little botox or Restalyne. With all the money she has, you would think she would get a little bit of work done. Julianne Moore is not much younger than her but looks years younger.. strange. I did see her being interviewed on the red carpet at the Oscars this year and I thought "wow, those lines on her face are from being a mom to 4 kids and working." She seems very hands on and I bet she works her ass off.

yes, having 4 kids is not a joke, her eldest child is already a big stress on her part being the mom..the youngest is turning 11 come apriland she is the only one workingand to think she has not gone into plastic surgery which is greatand usually when a much younger woman like annette married an older one like warren, the wife gets much older in the later years of their married life..especially annette who is the only one working so hard.
Oh, please "Annette's the only one working so hard": you make it sound as if she's a victim of a slave driver or something. Warren works, too, and has been working pretty much throughout their marriage. Just not ON screen as frequently as Annette (since they got married he made his last three movies). Annette has said many times that Warren spends a lot of time writing and researching, into the tiniest details, for his projects. We just don't see it. Also, Annette herself as also said multiple times that she LOVES to work. In fact, she has repeatedly mentioned she needs acting because it "keeps her sane". Her words, not mine.

well, you know she has 4 kids and all are in their young teens (ones even 11) and shes had alot going on in her life with her oldest child, all that on top of working could be stressful and that ages people, i think she looks her age, which is fine because that really has nothing to do with her talent or her as a actress, but if i was comparing her to someone like julianne moore who is 50 and looks ALOT younger, and no one would think she was 50 then i get what you mean, but her wrinkles i think are refreshing to see that she hasnt got any plastic surgery!

In The Grass" but was only 13 years older. Angela Lansbury played mom to Elvis
Presley (10 years her junior) and Warren Beatty (12 years her junior).

Her hair is long in this picture. You seem to have a fixation with long hair. IMO, she looks better now that in this picture. Long hair ages a woman once they begin to approach middle age. Most woman in that age group would look better with less hair.

One day we'll all be 52 and will have gained a few wrinkles. By then we'll have grown up and realised there's more to being attractive than having smooth skin. It's all subjective: when I was 18 I seriously thought 25 was old and that all 25 year olds should get out of the clubs because they were just embarrassing themselves
