I, for one, have always considered Valerie Bertinelli as, to quote Bret Hart, the "Excellence Of Execution" of acting.
Reason being, is whatever role she portrays, big or small, she excellently executes an awesome performance every time. She really makes you believe into the character she portrays, which is why I always enjoyed her movies and TV shows.

I disagree with you. I feel she tends to overact, esspecially in Hot in Cleveland. It seems like she tries really hard to be funny. I think if she pulled back a little and didn't try so hard, she'd be great.
