I have loved Annie since childhood, and one of the main reasons is Carol's performance as Miss Hannigan. She is absolutely fantastic in the role, made me laugh more than once and came close to stealing the film on several occasions for me. I love Carol in lots of other things, but I will always fondly remember her in Annie.

I absolutely agree 110%! She did play a fantastic role. She was better than perfect. I have loved Annie since childhood. Only Carol Burnett can do Miss Hannigan so perfectly.

I agree 100%! She is so hilariously drunk, scary, and yet so lovable! Remakes can never capture the spirit of Miss Hannigan quite as well- best not-quite movie villian I have ever seen.
Best scene?
When she is trying to seduce Mr. Warbucks- "I'll call you Ollie, my hot tamale!"
