In his biography Capra vividly recalls his journey from Italy to America made when he was a young boy. He states that he came over as a passanger o2000n the Germania and his entry to the US came via Ellis Island.
I've tried to look him up in the official archives of those who were processed in Ellis Island but have not found his name. I've even submitted to the archive officials Frank's name of famous immigrants who were processed in Ellis Island via their website but they have yet to update his name on it.
