I just watched Dog Day Afternoon which prompted me to look up the history of that story.
John Cazle has always been a favorite. I knew that he died young, that he only made 5 movies ( 6 if you count archive footage in G3 ), and that he was engaged to Meryl Streep. I did not know that HBO has a 40 min documentary about him. I already have it in my NetFlix queue.
Someone said that there was a great sadness about him and that definitely came out in his movies. Almost all of his friends and co-stars said it was great to be around him.
He is one of the "died too young" actors ! Imagine if he had lived and continued to work !
Does anyone know of some live footage of him in a personal interview ??? I would like to have heard from John Cazale, the man !!!
