As much as I go back and forth on this topic, I still tend to believe it was suicide. He had OD'd many times before this if I recall correctly, and it had become a regular occurrence towards the end of his life. Whether or not it was intentional, I have no idea but I think that he was a very depressed man who had a death wish and simply didn't care if his next fix killed him or not as long as it made the pain go away.

Doctors don't know everything. He didn't know the Cobains and didn't know his history. How many days did he spend with him? Do you really think Kurt would have opened up to him?

The doctor who treated Kurt after the Rome overdose has went on the record as saying that he never even considered that it was a suicide attempt.
That was just Courtney's way of making Kurt seem suicidal after she had him offed.

A lot of people just don't understand how depression works . Yes he was happy and hopeful after Frances was born . Now I don't know if Love had attempted murdering him or just the public is bashing her because they're in denial . But , I know depression and with depression , you get excited for a moment ir a period of time about something in your life , but then you just cramble once again and that actually was obvious in his suicide note or the last note he wrote about music and enjoying it . He said he wasn't able to feel excited or passionate about his music or the world anymore . It's just how depression works you get happy about something and then you realise that the world is still beep up despite that sonething

It's understandable to claim it was a suicide attempt when the person shoots themselves in the head a month later. Whether it was a suicide attempt, murder attempt, or a reckless night with zero
intent
on dying but maybe not caring if it happened, it was a weird scene. Who knows what was going on in his mind.

The "Rome incident" is really messed up depending on who talks about it. Courtney swears it was a suicide attempt, but everyone there claims otherwise. Kurt wasn't a drinker, the Rohypnol was prescribed to Courtney. And there were witnesses who claimed that the first thing Kurt said to Courtney was "F-You" while in the hospital.
Keep in mind, at the time it was treated as a "overdose" not a suicide attempt. She claimed it was a suicide attempt after he died. Also remember that from the time he got back from Rome to his death, his contact with Courtney was very limited.

Yeah, he took a large amount of Rohypnol and champagne. There are people who try claiming that it "wasn't a suicide attempt," but who the hell takes
that much
without the intent of dying?

This country singer named Mindy McCready committed suicide last year and she left behind two children. Her husband also committed suicide as well. Those two little boys are now orphans.
Kurt actually was suicidal even when he was a teenager.

I agree with you actually, but I have heard tons of fans say the he wouldn't do it because he had a daughter he loved so that's how they "know" he was murdered.

People with children take their own lives all the time. Who are those people that think otherwise? Do they read the news, know how the real world is? Is it thier age, or that they don't know what real pain is? Parents even kill their own children, yet they doubt a parent would kill themself
Suicides don't take a moment and think:
"Oh, wait, I better not,I have kids". If they could think that rationally, they wouldn't be suicides.
Or it really because we're speaking about a celebrity?
