I don't think it is really hateful, because he/she concedes that Holly has the gift of beauty..
I do not agree with 'pisses it away by being fat and lazy" because allowance has to be made if it is medical and not her fault, ie thyroid glandular issue.

Well, that didn't last long. She is pretty much fat and lazy, in my opinion.
