Well there are so many negative stories on here, here's a true one and it's positive.
My father in law and his girlfriend were eating at Tony's favorite restaurant Patsy's in NYC, last December. They're very outgoing and thought nothing of going up to him (I would be too shy). They said that they watched his show everyday and that they loved it. He was very nice and personable to them, he was even eating.so you'd think he'd be annoyed? Well he wasn't, he talked to them for a couple of minutes, too and he thanked them for liking his show. They said he looked awesome, so slim and fit, like a young guy :)))
So there you go, I find it hard to believe he's so nasty??

I met Tony Danza in a bath house recently, and he was really, really nice. I was just walking by and he deliberately tripped me up and as I fell to the ground, he removed my towel and finger-banged me. He swore he was just looking for his gum 16d0but I don't remember him leaving it there!
He was very nice to me.

I had posted this on the "I met Tony Danza and he acted rude" thread yesterday, but it really belongs here, so I'll repost:
I'll admit, I'm a total Danza fan (grew up watching Who's the Boss?) and have seen him when he was in "Wrong Turn at Lungfish" an off-Broadway play in NYC back in 1993. At the time it was Easter Sunday. I asked if I could meet him, and one of the ushers a the theater went back to ask. He came back out and said, "Tony's mother is in the hospital and he's going there now" but he still took the time to autograph an 8x10 glossy to give to me. Understanding it was not only a holiday, but his Mom being in the hospital (go Google Anne Danza - who died 2 months afterwards), I found this to be quite nice and frankly going above and beyond.
I got a second chance to meet him in 2000 when he was at Feinstein's at the Regency in NYC. It was his tapdance/cabaret show and it was opening night. Afterwards there was a champagne reception and you could meet him in person. I being shy at the time, let everyone go ahead of me and then he sat down with family/friends at a table (everyone else had left, but that table). I thought, crap, I just lost my chance. I drummed up some courage and went over and said, "Excuse me Mr. Danza, I'm sorry to bother you, but I wanted to wait until you were done talking with others and then you sat down. I'm really sorry to interrupt you." Not only did he get up, but he stood and chatted with my Mom and I for about 15 minutes or more. He even gave me a kiss on the cheek. I figured if he was with family/friends I would've gotten reamed for interrupting, but he was the complete opposite. Now, don't get me wrong, I've heard he can be VERY hot-tempered, especially to paparazzi (even punched one or two!) and who wants to be bothered while with family or at a meal (he wasn't eating when I approached him or I would've left him alone). But he was super nice to me. I've met other celebs in NYC that weren't so nice, but none as nice as him yet.

Hi Again Everyone!
I too have a positive Tony Danza story! In 2001, we went to see him at Feinsteins in New York. I remember it quite clearly because it was the same year that the twin towers went down. Anyway, it was my birthday in May, and my mom had gotten me these tickets to see him as a gift for my birthday. So, when the show was over, Tony was on his way out, and my mom yelled to him "TONY! WE CAME FROM CINCINNATI!" After hearing how far we had traveled to see him, he came back around the corner, put his arm around me, and posed for a picture! He cannot be as horrible of a man as everyone makes him out to be. God bless everyone!
