provides a fascinating look at the life and career of one of the giants of film history, a man described as "the greatest showman on Earth." Tyrant, visionary, highly successful filmmaker  a character larger than life who directed such unforgettable epics as "The King of Kings", "Samson and Delilah" and "The Ten Commandments", which helped forge Hollywood mythology.<br />
Among the interview subjects are DeMille collaborators, including Charlton Heston, Angela Lansbury and Elmer Bernstein; contemporary filmmakers Martin Scorsese and Steven Spielberg; and family members such as son Richard DeMille, granddaughter Cecilia Presley and Agnes DeMille, the celebrated dancer/choreographer and niece of DeMille. This two-part documentary follows his entire career, shedding li5b4ght on DeMilles entire work, from his prolific contribution to silent cinema to the Technicolor sound epics he is most famous for.<br />
