<p dir="auto">She gave a such a strong, realistic and heartwrenching performance in the episode of NYPD Blue, "Upstairs, Downstairs". She won an emmy for best supporting actress in a drama series that same year. The last scene with Jimmy Smits in this episode is a good example of why the win was so well deserved.</p>
