There were rumours that the next release would be from the Blood On The Tracks sessions. I also heard something about maybe releasing some mid 60's out takes before then( 50 year?) copyrights lapse.
Some material from those Gospel tours would be great but I don't think Bob is keen to revisit that part of his career. There's certainly plenty of professionally recorded material to choose from-unreleased live album from 1980 is a fantastic recording.

I'd like some live stuff from the end of the 70s, during his Christian period, I think I'd like that to be a bit more documented. There must be some cracking live takes to draw on. However, the entire Bootleg series has just been a complete goldmine, so I'm sure I'll be happy whatever happens. Another Self Portrait was a complete revelation.
Wasn't there some talk of revisiting the Blood on the Tracks stuff? Or was that just idle speculation.
